The Novum Chronicles was published with 1stbooks.com in 1998. It provides a unique story about the beginnings of modern man. SIR WALTER

Walter Charles Hagen was born in Corbett's Glen, New York, a village on the edge of Rochester, in December 1982.   He was the only son among five children of William and Louise Hagen.  Walter's father worked as a blacksmith in Rochester and wanted his son to follow his footsteps... afterall, blacksmithing was a very honorable profession.

Walter would have nothing of being a blacksmith.  During the early school years, young Walter would look out the window which overlooked the Rochester Country Club Golf Course and frequently skipped school to caddy.

Ken Hines had a dream years ago. This dream was like a modern motion picture full of characters and action. Unlike most dreams that seem a bit more obscured with each moment after awakening, Ken recorded the key points of this dream. Armed with some scratched notes made at 3 a.m., he began forming the story of the dream. The result is the NOVUM CHRONICLES!

He is married to Leslie Hines and they live in the Dallas area.  An avid golfer, Ken enjoys a stroll through the fairways.  When not playing golf, he would probably be just as happy up in the sky in his Navion shown here.
